He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Koivu and Wilma Koivu; his siblings, Jack and Doris; his wife Anne Wasylyk; his sister Gertrude; and his children, Mark, Kristina Castonguay (Richard), Gary, John (Susan), Tamara Ivens (Mark), Cindy (Ian Kennard), Kathy LeBreton (Frank) and Annikki Desmarais (Dan). He was also cherished by grandchildren, 14 adoring great grandchildren, and a constellation of relatives, friends, and coworkers.
