He was predeceased by: his mother Cora Edmunds (Lyons); his wife Doreen Edmunds (Marcotte); and his brother Arnold (Dinah). He is survived by: his sons, Rick (Rae Ellen), Perry (April) and Jeff (Linda); his grandchildren, Scott, Katie Kauffeldt (Jay), Sarah, Shane (Samantha), Jennifer Sauder (Matt) and Kali; his sister Eileen Brann (late Alex); and his sisters-in-law, Pat Marcotte and Sheila Marcotte.
