It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Kallio (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eva Kallio to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold. She is survived by: her sons, Stewart (Lesley), Norman (Pamela), Peter (Mary) and Chris (Allison); her grandchildren, Matthew (Jamie), Jamie (Adriana), Sarah Viljanmaa (James), Maxwell (Kirby), Meaghan, Alexandra, Adam (Sydney) and Amy; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Sam, Andrew, Mason, Isla, Brock, James and Kash; and her sister Marietta Kosovsky.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Epiphany (85 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E1B8).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on Eva's behalf to Sudbury Symphony Orchestra or Joan Mantle Music Trust would be appreciated.
