It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Chase (Sudbury, Ontario), born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orilla Chase and Harold Chase; and his stepbrother Wayne Chase. He is survived by: his wife Joan Chase; his children, Kimberley (Richard Charlebois), Greg (late Lynn Chase), Corinna (Marc Marengere) and Bridget Chase; his sisters, Helen (late Bob Johnson) and Deborah (Donat Carriere); his grandchildren, Jessica (Nicholas Hale), Nicholas (Jennifer Charlebois), Charles, Chelsea (Jay), Chance Fraser (Gerson Flores), Megan Stephanie (Shawn Durocher), Blake, Jennifer (Gavan), Arielle (Hector), Alex, Jaime (Michael) and Justice (Thomas); his great grandchildren, Katrina, Victoria, River, Loic, Roman, Sloan, Scarlett, Summer, Aidan, Levi, Milo, Shea, Ava, Parker, Nicolas, David, Ollie, Maddie, Emery, Presley and Easton; and his extended family, Brian Chase and Kathy Chase. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to Alzheimer's Society or Diabetes Canada.
