He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ada Rickard; his children, Ann Gratton (Denis) and Greg Rickard; his daughter-in-law Louisa Koehler; and his grandsons, Alexander and Ari Gratton. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
