He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Wakegijig; his siblings, Rodney Groulx (late Violet), Carmen Groulx (Yvonne), Geraldine Ranger (late Dennis), Bruce Groulx (Cindy), Allan Groulx (Joanne), Norbert Groulx (Annette), Donald, Beverley and Sharon; and his parents, Ivan Groulx and Nora Groulx.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ava, Bentley, Carson, Layla, Ciarah, Mylah and Remi; his sons, Frankie Wakegijig (Amanda) and Blayne Wakegijig; his goddaughter Marissa Groulx (Lance); and his granddaughter Lola. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lougheed Funeral Home (252 Regent St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3C4C8). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
