She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Buckner and Léa Buckner; her husbands, Jean-Claude Hamel and Jean-Guy Yelle; and her siblings, Liliane Gareau, Maurice, Pauline Brooke, Roger, Claude, Donald and Rhéal.

She is survived by: her children, Michel Hamel (Angèle), Claudette Hamel (Réjean), Luc Yelle (Jennie) and Nicole Dubuc (Ghislain); and her grandchildren, Paul Dubuc (Maude), Pattie Rogozynski (Johnny) and Justin Pelletier (Hailee). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
