She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Adelia Dunn and Elmer Rutledge Smith; and her siblings, Clayton, Abbie and Isabelle.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond; her son David (Helene); her grandchildren, Eric (Brooke), Julie (Jonathan), Melodie (Roxanne) and Natalie (Trevor); and her great grandchildren, Briar, Deven and Abbey.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Janie's memory to the Health Science North Foundation (Northern Cancer Foundation) or the Canadian Legion Capreol Branch.
