He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Katherine Harasymchuk; his parents, Nick Harasymchuk and Mary Harasymchuk; his sons, Kenneth (Karen), Dennis and Norman (Melissa); his granddaughters, Kayla Harasymchuk, Wendy (Michael), Lori and Marisa; his great grandchildren, Timothy and Taeyo; and his siblings, Jack Harasymchuk (Frances), Steve Harasymchuk (Lucy), Anne Kosokowsky (late Tony), Adel Komarnicki (Alex) and Eugene Bayda (Anna). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church (40 Notre Dame Ave, Greater Sudbury, ON P3C5K2).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
