He was predeceased by: his parents, John George and Dorothy; his stepdaughter Gina (Byron); his son Darryl (Kim); his brother Wayne; and his brother-in-law Paul (Helen).
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Alice (Ed) and Joseph (Tracy); his stepchildren, Sue (Joe), Mark, John (Angela), Mike (Jen), Lisa (Johnny), Carla (Paul) and Mary (Andrew); his grandchildren, Justine (Kyle), Jessica (Tyler), Jonathan, Eddie, Courtnie, Christie Steven (Owen), Catie, Braxton, Bronwyn, Katie, Lindsay, Nicole, Victoria, Luke, Teresa, Emily, Rock, John-Henri, Jordan, Jenna, Sarah, Emma, Alec, Grace, Christian, Adrian, Olivia and Mara; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Adelaide and Scarlett; his siblings, Sally (Lloyd), Chris (Brenda), Brian (Chris) and Kathy (Emerson); and his brothers-in-law, Peter (late Rose) and Jim (Margaret). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home (119 King St, Sturgeon Falls, ON P2B1R2). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (45 John St, Sturgeon Falls, ON P2B1Y2).
