She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Jackson and Marion Jackson; her husband Irving Reid; and her brothers, Keith, James and George Jackson.
She is survived by: her sister Edna Newcombe; and her sister-in-law Joyce Jackson. She is also survived by Aunt Ruth was loved by many nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews, and great great nieces/nephews.
