He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his daughter Ruth Ann; his parents, Abner Derby and Beatrice Derby; and his sister Wanda.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Beer (Roy), Terry Derby (Rhonda) and Janice Stokes (John); his grandchildren, Matthew Beer (Angela), Josh Beer, Adam Beer, Wes Derby (Tabatha), Cole Derby (Charlotte), Shelby Thomas (Joel), Alyssa Carrothers (Sam), Amanda Edmunds (Chris), Amber Oulds (Stephen) and Abby Stokes; his great grandchildren, Marley, Onyx, Ezra, Aria, Rhys, Maci, Nolan, Mackenzie, Maija, Everett, Deven and Carter; and his siblings, Denny, John and Betty.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Denning Funeral Homes - Strathroy (32 Metcalfe St W, Strathroy, ON N7G 1M6).
