He was predeceased by: his brother Cor. He is survived by: his wife Martina Schuurman; his children, Ron Schuurman (Brenda), Lydia Gorter (Rod) and Ingrid Kern (Paul); his grandchildren, Tyler, Kelsey (Ken), Nathan (Shena), Michael (Kari), Matthew (Aziel), Daniel, Elona, Ruslan, Karissa, Opapa, Esther, Reuben, Abijah and Benjamin; and his brother Aad. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews Friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ralph's name to Word and Deed in St. Thomas.
