She was predeceased by: her husband Grant Zavitz; her birth parents, Herman and Annie Ellis (Dunn); her foster parents, Basil Gault and Hazel Gault (York); and her siblings, Wilfred, Norman, Jerry, Ken, Edward, Agnes, Donna, Eva, Edith, Greta and Beverly.

She is survived by: her children, Cal, Paula Zavitz of Strathroy, Carolyn, Evert Vanderbeld of Sarnia, Brian Conahan of Oshawa and Paul Tobin of Watford; her grandchildren, Greg (Krystal), Jeremy (Michaela), Lakota (Kayla), Cassie, Robbie and Brianna (Mike); her great grandchildren, Parker, Lucas, Violet, Kamren, Watson, Anthony and Aubrey; and her siblings, Barbara Davis (Sam) and Tom Gault (Arlene).
