She is survived by: her husband Theodore Verstraten; her children, Corne Verstraten (Debbie), Ann Snoeks (Gerald), Gerry Verstraten (Lisa), Francis Verstraten (Polly), Joe Verstraten (Ellen), Doreen Verberne (Mike), Mary Tizzard (Michael), Pat Verstraten and Annette Verstraten (Gary); and her sisters, Joan of Thamesford, Grada and Fien of Holland.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Netty may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
