He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Nichols and Frances Nichols (Snelgrove); his brothers, Fred, Barry and Maurice Nichols; and his sister-in-law Judy Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Karen (Dowding); his daughters, Brenda Nichols (Scott), Roxanne Nichols and Emma Porter (Trevor); his sister Bernice Nichols; and his siblings-in-law, Johanne, Patricia, Phyllis and William Morgan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
