She was predeceased by: her spouse Serafim; her parents, Jose Da Ponte and Rozalina Lima; and her brothers, Jose Ponte (late Maria Dos Anjos) and Carlos Da Ponte.

She is survived by: her children, Dolores Carreiro (late Luis), Adriana Cordeiro (Miguel) and Steven Da Ponte; her siblings, Irminia Fernandes (late Manuel) and Luis Ponte (Flavia); and her sister-in-law Maria Do Carmo.
