She was predeceased by: her husband John Walters; her parents, Joseph Brophy and Mary Ann Brophy; her siblings, Jerry, Jack, Desmond Brophy, Mary White (Wilfred), Frances King (George) and Patsy Devereaux (Eugene); her great grandchild Hope Peel; and her siblings-in-law, Wilfred Walters (Peggy), Mabel MacRae (Ross), Marian Gleason, Dorothy Rotteau (Pete) and Helen McKague.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Walters, Bev Karn of Stratford, Mark, Nancy Walters of Strathroy, Mary Ann and Nathan Peel of Bluevale; her grandchildren, John Walters, Michael Walters, Anne-Marie Walters, Holly, Matt Hanna, Shannon, Rob Schiestel, Tori, Steve Amy, Alexandrea, Andy Gammie, Isaac, Julie Peel, Jacinta, Dan Barsky, Mathias, Ellen Peel, Celeste Peel and Edison Peel; her great grandchildren, Becksen, Wilder, Charli Hanna, Braya Schiestel, Fred Amy, Cohen, Maclin Gammie, Declan, Jasper Peel and Aiden Peel; and her siblings-in-law, Norma, Janet Brophy and Bob McKague. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation (funds will be directed towards Geriatric Services) or the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
