She was predeceased by: her spouse Garnet; her children, Ronald and Bernadette Bates; her sister Irene Marleau (Leo); and her aunts and uncles, Godfred and Adeline Bourbonnais.

She is survived by: her son-in-law Arthur Bates; and her grandchildren, Ryan Bates (Mercedes) and Adam Bates (Nicolle).
