He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Sutherland and Jennie Sutherland (Blair); his wife Joanne Sutherland (Nevin-Thompson); his son Allen Sutherland; his grandchildren, Kasey Sutherland and Danny Sutherland; his sister Dorothy Glover; his former wife Velda Sutherland (Grosvenor); his children-in-law, Bob Blair and Kerry Sutherland (Bidner); his grandson Brian Sutherland; his siblings, Wilfrid Sutherland (Marion), Mabel Reilly (Wallis), Alice Earley (Ray), Gladys Richardson (Evan), Mary Clark (Don) and Evelyn Sutherland; his stepchildren, Colleen Mathers (Mike) and Jeffrey Thompson; his grandchildren, Gregory Mathers (Laura) and Sarah Mathers; his grandfathers, Mac, Thomas Walsh, Nova Mathers, Cam Mathers and Michael Clark; and also, Leslie Glover, Sharon Lagerwerf (Don), Barry Nevin (Mary-Beth), Pam McLinchy (Ron) and Ron Nevin. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
