She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Brooks and Patricia Brooks. She is survived by: her spouse Ihor Boytchuk; her children, Samantha Melnick (John), Jason Boytchuk and Craig Boychuk; her grandchildren, Claire "Claire Bear", Nolan and Graham Melnick; her uncle Larry Jessop; and her friend Stella Hutchinson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
