Liz Leyten Obituary

The memory of Liz Leyten (Strathroy, Ontario), who passed away on February 3, 2025, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Gus Van Massenhoven (Bernie) and Albert Van Massenhoven (Lis); her brothers-in-law, Ron Leyten (Marion), Tony Leyten (Ann Marie) and Frank Leyten; and her parents, Joseph Massenhoven and Maria Van Massenhoven.

She is survived by: her husband Neil Leyten; her children, Linda Hovey, Roger (Chrissy) and Sherie Eastbury (Scott); her grandchildren, Taryn, Damon and Campbell; her brother Louis Van Massenhoven (late Maria); and her siblings-in-law, Joe Leyten (Tonny), Pete Leyten (Reinelda), Jack Leyten (Thea), Annie Vanderloo, Bill Leyten and Elly Vansevenant (Mike). She is also survived by nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Denning's of Strathroy (32 Metcalfe St W, Strathroy, ON N7G 1M6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada will be appreciated by the family.
