He was predeceased by: his wife Anne; his brothers, Don and Robert (Bob); and his brother-in-law Steve. He is survived by: his son Michael; his sisters-in-law, Marie, Olga and Mary; and his nieces and nephews, Joy, Susan, Morgan, Craig, Bob and Stephen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
