He was predeceased by: his wife Luisa Ataide; his grandson Jonathan; and his siblings, Antonio Trigueiro and Maria Calcutt. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Desa (John), Annabella Macedo (David) and Paula Ponte (Mike); his grandchildren, Monique (Moe), Nicholas, Mackenzie, Spencer, Noah and Lucas; his great grandchildren, Sophia and Mia; and his sister Noemia Geiser.
