He was predeceased by: his siblings, Peter (Toni), Karel (late Harriett), Harry (Tina), Wilma (Harry), Ted (late Doris) and Irma (Ollie); and his siblings-in-law, Rosemary and Martin.

He is survived by: his spouse Rieky Vande Wetering; his children, Sandra and Rob (Donna); his grandchildren, Jake, Alexis, Derek, Kirsten and Morgan; and his siblings, Rita and Jerry (Joanne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
