He was predeceased by: his siblings, Cecil Lane (Nyhl), George (Emily), Doris Lane, Opal Lane and Audrey Foster (Eric); and his parents, Andy Lane and Elizabeth Lane.

He is survived by: his wife Mildred Lane; his children, Dan Lane, Maxine Lane and Donna Bueckert (Abe); and his brothers, Russell Lane (late Mary) and Lloyd Lane (Louise). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
