He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Debbie; his children, Jenny Gilbert (Brian Weselowski), Jeremy Gilbert (Alison Higgins) and Katie Fletcher (Craig); his grandchildren, Emma, Dylan, Emerson, Aila and Lachlan; his sister Susan Hodgins (Doug); and his siblings-in-law, Dale-Ann McKichan (John) and Donna Currie (Colin).

Donations to the Poplar Hill Lion's Club and to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, would be greatly appreciated by Jim's family.
