He was predeceased by: his daughter Jaqueline Bylsma (Rick); his brothers, Hugh (Patsy) and John (Sylvia); and his in-laws, John (late Corrie), Arend (late Freda) and Clarence (Cobie).
He is survived by: his wife Connie Pranger; his children, Helen, Harry (Wendy), David (Marilyn), Jack (Jennifer), Kathleen Burke (Len), Susan Isaac (Shaine) and Paul (Stephanie); his siblings, Joanne Schalk (late Pete), Jeanette Vandop (Adrian), Henry (Mary Lee), Earl (Brita), Cor (Diane), Mary and William (Jo-Anne); and his in-laws, Wiebe (Margaret), Jenny Kleefman (late Harry) and Bill (Grace). He is also survived by his 25 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Providence United Reformed Church (447 Second St, Strathroy, ON N7G3H8). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:20 PM at the Strathroy Cemetery (585 Metcalfe St W, Strathroy, ON N7G1N6).
