She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other Whitford Petch; her daughter Heather Louise; her husband Whitford Thomas; her sons, Whitford Alexander and Wesley Petch (Marie); her daughter-in-law Eileen Petch; her grandchildren, Kathleen Atagi (Dan), Teresa Petch (Jon Quinn), Matthew Petch (Jenna) and Emily Petch (Michael); her great grandchildren, Noah, Harrison, Levi, Lucia, Michael and Tyler; her parents, Alex and Ellen; her siblings, Annie, Alexander and Margaret; and her pet Rosie. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Heart and Stroke Society, or the Kerwood United Church.
