He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Earhart; his siblings, Dorla Fischer (Bud), Wayne Earhart (Helen) and Winnifred Dawe (George); and his parents, Marguerite Earhart and Earl Stanley Earhart.

He is survived by: his son Fred Jr.; his grandchildren, Christina Earhart (Gregg), Michelle Earhart (Garrette), Katelyn Costa and Kyle Costa; his great grandchildren, Berlynn, Quinn, Hunter, Bennett and Mia Magdalena; and his sisters, Mary Fletcher (Jim) and Joanne Earhart.
