She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Kennes; her parents, Henry Versteegden and Katherine; her stepmother Wilhelmina; her sister Joanne; her brother-in-law Hank Dorssers; her brother Albert Versteegden; and her siblings-in-law, Ted, Catherine Van Roestel, Joe, Rachel Kennes, Albert VandenBogaard, John Donkers and Louis.
She is survived by: her children, Frank, Marianne Kennes, Kathy, Jim Hendrikx, Dave, Willy Ann Kennes, Ron and Linda Kennes; her grandchildren, Jeff Kennes, Ben Kennes (Amy Dickson), Mike Hendrikx (Krystle), Paul Hendrikx (Lisa Walters), Lindsay Brannon, Ryan Kennes (Laura), Jennifer (AJ) of Bruyn, Matt Kennes (Jocelyn), Josh Kennes (Jenn), Montana Kennes (Samson Goodenough) and Markus Kennes; her great grandchildren, Tom, Emma, Fletcher, Carmin, Taylor, Jimmy, Hailey, Lyla, Alana, Riley, Evelyn, Parker and Laurel; her siblings, Tony (Ann Versteegden), Catherine (Frank VanderBurght), Jane (Lou Vanderheyden), Marge Versteegden, Adrian (Kathy Versteegden) and Thea (Gus Backx); and her siblings-in-law, Mary, Elizabeth, Hubert, Frances Kennes, Carol Kennes, Seline and Peter Visser. She is also survived by many many nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Elisabeth's honour may be made to the Strathmere Lodge Auxiliary or the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation.
