She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest McEwen; and her siblings, Alex Thompson (Ella), Albert Thompson (Audrey), Helen (Merlin) and Clark (Lloyd Mitchell).
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Dixon (Wayne), Kathy and Mary McEwen; her granddaughters, Melissa Zavitz (Elijah Bailey) and Sarah Dixon (Braeden Burrows); and her siblings-in-law, Arthur McEwen (late Donna) and Winnafred McEwen (late Douglas). She is also survived by her extended family and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Strathroy First Baptist Church, Strathmere Lodge Auxiliary or Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital.
