It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Haig Welch (Strathroy, Ontario), who passed away on February 1, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Welch; his daughter Karen Mitchell (Dave); and his grandson Mason. He is survived by: his children, Randy Welch (Kathy), Debbie Welch, Tammy Vermeersch (Andre) and Gaye Taylor (Ron); and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Laura, Morgan, Becky, Chris, Michele, Robert, Nathan and Jordan. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

As an expression of sympathy donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Easter Seals or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
