She was predeceased by: her husband Arvo Nirkkola. She is survived by: her children, Lorie Godinez (Miguel) and Kevin Nirkkola (Lisa); her grandchildren, Brigitte, Michelle Godinez, Zachary Clarke, Joshua and Jonathan Nirkkola; and her sisters-in-law, Anne Nenonen (Lauri) and Aino Hautala (late Armas). She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews.
