She was predeceased by: her son John Van Eyk (Mary Elizabeth) of Strathroy; her grandson Eric Van Eyk; her siblings, Mary Aarts of Strathroy, Joseph Berkvens, Nellie (Tony Koolen), Peter Aarts, Jim (Ida Berkvens), Harry Berkvens and John Berkvens (Theresa Meulendyks); and the father of her children Ted Van Eyk.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sue Van Eyk of Strathroy and Marianne Kennes (Frank) of Strathroy; her grandsons, Jeff Kennes, Ben Kennes, Derek Van Eyk and Darren Van Eyk; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Berkvens of Antigonish, Helma Berkvens of Port Lambton, Tina Van Berkel of Strathroy and Jerry Meulendyks (Judy Goertz) of Strathroy.
