He was predeceased by: his parents, John Aarts and Mary Aarts (Van Bussel); and his brothers, Frank (Anna) and John (Loralee). He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Brenda (Trevor), Kim (Vic), Sharlene, Justin and Greg (Irayda); his grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Ashley (Travis), Kay, Kea, Shay, Seneca, Mackenzie, Nolan, Gilby, Lincoln and Sophia; his great grandchild Brea; and his siblings, Anne, Tony (late JoAnn), Bill (Sandra), Paul (late Catherine), Ron, Gerry (Mary) and Mary-Anne (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Caradoc Sands Golf Club (24500 Saxton Rd, Strathroy, ON N7G3H4).
