He was predeceased by: his parents, Ysbrand Boersen and Adrianna Boersen (Herder); his wife Martina (Van Delst); his siblings, John, Tony, Bert, Johan, Dora (Adrian), Joan (Peter) and Betty (Andre); and his siblings-in-law, Renalda and Pete (Joe).
He is survived by: his children, Brian (Linda), Sharon Gray (Gerald), Debbie Wilson (Steven), Steve (Audra), Jeff (Roxanne), Joan Aarts (Mike) and Kevin (Monique); his grandchildren, Sarah (Matt), Ashley (Matt), Scott (Lindsey), Chad (Sadie), Brandon (Gemma), Adrianna Olivia (Tanner), Brooke (Niko), Avery, Lauren (Mike), Madeline (Rob), Elizabeth (Joe), Ethan, James, Danielle, Nathan and Katie (Kevin); his great grandchildren, Lily, Hannah, Ffion, Daphne, Casey, Braydon, Grace and Abby; his siblings, Jerry, Henk (Emma), Aleida Vlasman and Anne Bokkers; and his sisters-in-law, Judy, Ann, Liz and Viola. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces, nephews.
