With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia (Shapiro) Helperin in Stratford, Ontario, who passed away on June 7, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Shapiro and Jennie Shapiro; and her friend Bob. She is survived by: her grandsons, Max Jefferson, Alex Christian, Scott and Peter Rye; her husband Maurice Helperin; her brothers, Richard and Louis Shapiro; her nephews, Bruce, Martin, Harry and Sheldon Shapiro; her sisters-in-law, Florence and Frances Shapiro; and her friends, Ruth, Liz, Eric, Pam, Nimi, Lois, John and Bernice Goren.
Only a pandemic could keep her from working at the store.
