Susannah Read Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2024, at the age of 78, Susannah Read (Stratford, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Susannah find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She also favoured the warmth of the sun so in their retirement years she and Greg spent winters in Osoyoos, B.C. where, once again, her inclination to volunteer and her creative energies saw her fashioning and donating jewellery to local charitable groups. Sue's ashes will be scattered in the sunniest possible location in Avondale Cemetery, close to a yellow magnolia tree that will bloom its own contributions to this community when Spring's warmth returns each year.
