She was predeceased by: her husband Lorne; and her parents, George Hislop and Edna Hislop (Richardson). She is survived by: her children, Ann (Bill Scott), Jane, Jim and Eric; her grandsons, Douglas (Kate) and James (Steph); her great grandchildren, Aubrey and Violet; and also, Bob, Doreen Hislop, Lenore Hislop, Brock Hislop, Ted Ford, Wayne Riehl and Linda Hislop. She is also survived by Aunt.
She was a voracious reader of books as well as local and national newspapers, and an avid bridge player, playing multiple times each week until the onset of COVID.
