It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Philip Soeder of Stratford, Ontario, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldin "Bing" Soeder and Anne Soeder; his parents-in-law, Harold and Jean Cummings; his siblings-in-law, Don Brown and Barb Richardson (Ray); and his daughter-in-law Jeanette Soeder.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Soeder; his children, Deborah Soeder of Stratford, Catherine Gilkinson (George McClory) of Thorhild, Alberta, Brenda Elliott (Gary Breitenbach) of Stratford and Steven Soeder (Luba) of Sarnia; his siblings, Edward Soeder (Shirley) of Stratford and Shirley Brown; his grandchildren, Samantha (Mark), Lisa, Scott, Jack (Melodie), Mark (Danielle), Alex and Zory; and his great grandchildren, Kaydence, Brooklyn, Colton, Lyla and Wyatt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home Reception Centre (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7).
