She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel and Bernard; and her siblings, Stanley, Leslie, Mildon, Vertilee and Honey.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Single; her sister Gail Doucette; her daughter Joanne Briand (Dana Briand); her granddaughters, Samantha Clarke (Nathan Clarke) and Leanne Macpherson (Jakob Macpherson); and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Layla and Liam.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to a local branch of the Humane Society, animal rescue or to the Alzheimer's Society who played a pivotal role in supporting Phyllis and her family in recent years.
