“I was sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing. Nancy had a very special place in my heart. Several years ago I left an abusive situation and went to Optimism Place where I stayed for a few months. I was two days away from being discharged and was going to be living in my car. I was sitting in my car at the church crying when out of the blue Nancy comes up to me and offers to let me stay with her. She didn’t know me, had no idea what my situation was, and yet she still opened up her home to me. ❤️❤️”
