She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Elgie and Hildegard Elgie (Howlett). She is survived by: her husband Douglas Kirk Buchan; her sons, Robert Bruce and John Douglas Buchan; her brothers, Paul Elgie (Susan) and David Elgie (Adrienne); and her brothers-in-law, Robert Buchan (Mary) and Gordon (Jana Milo). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
