It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Douglas Reid (Stratford, Ontario), who passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Hunter and Malori Reid; his parents, Brian Reid (Brenda Reid) and Ann Reid; his sister Kathryn Reid (Marc Coulombe); his nephews, Zackery (Cassandra), Matthew (Lexi), Jarret, Scott (Claire) and Gilliann; his aunts, Juliet and Genevieve; and also Gabrielle.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, June 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home Reception Centre (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7).

Donations may be made to either the Stratford or St. Marys Minor Baseball Associations or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
