He was predeceased by: his parents, Martinus Swinkels and Johanna Swinkels; and his brother Henry Swinkels. He is survived by: his wife Janice Swinkels; his children, Sarah (Chad), Carrie, Cindy, Lynn and Steve Swinkels (Michelle); his siblings, Nellie Cahill and Gary Swinkels (Jennifer); his sister-in-law Anne Swinkels (Mike); and his grandchildren, Jackson, Jason, Connor, Mitchell, Johanna, Makayla and Nikki. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
