She was predeceased by: her parents, John Downey and Loretta Downey (Simmons); her husband David Powless; and her brothers, Ian and Jim Downey.
She is survived by: her siblings, Doug Downey (Jane) and Sandy Andress; and her sister-in-law Wendy Burmister-Downey. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
