He was predeceased by: his son Wayne Gene (Kay). He is survived by: his wife Rae Gene; his children, Ying McCann (late Kevin) and Ken Gene (Shirley); his siblings, Liesel Mui (Wing) and Millie Eng (Arthur); his grandchildren, Megan Sonier (Denis), Lyndsey Stewart (Greg), Laura Wilson (Alex), Philip Gene and Mathew Gene; and his great grandchildren, Annabelle, Elleen, Lillian, Ivy, Sloane, Jack and James. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
