He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Brenneman and Edna Brenneman (Leis); his wife Emmalene (Nafziger); his stepfather Enos Zehr; his brothers, Cliff Brenneman, Art Brenneman, William Kuepfer and Arlan (Marion Erb); and his son-in-law James Brubacher.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Brenneman of Plattsville, Ruth Schrock (Dan) of Hayward and Mary Jantzi (Myron) of Brunner; and his sisters-in-law, Twila Brenneman (Cliff) and Dolores (Art). He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 32 step great-grandchildren.
