He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Gill and Betty Gill; his niece Julie; his siblings, Kathy and Brian (Sandy); and his brother-in-law Ken Baechler.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy Gill; his children, Jeremy Gill and Nicole Paola (Jon); his grandson Bentley Paola; and his siblings, Ron Gill (Kathy), Glenn Gill (Debra), Sheila Gill and Linda Northcott (Jesse).
